LMS SBDM Parent Elections

The Louisa Middle School, School Based Decision Making Election Committee has met and made the following determinations:


Parent nominations will be accepted until Monday May 1, 2017 at 8:30 AM. Nomination forms will be available at the Family Resource Center at LMS and sent home with each 6th, 7th grader from Louisa Middle School as well as 5th grade students at Louisa Elementary East School who will attend LMS in the fall 2017 school year by Wednesday April 26, 2017.


The election will be held Monday May 1, from 12:00 noon to 6:00 PM in the LOBBY of Louisa Middle School. If you will have a child enrolled at LMS next year, you are eligible to vote in this election. (This includes parents, step-parents, and foster parents. Legal guardians are also eligible to vote if the child lives in their home.) We urge every parent to participate in this important decision about the future of our children's school. Votes may be cast for two nominees.


Ballots will be counted by volunteers and results will be announced (and a runoff held if needed) on May 1,2017 at 6:15 PM in the Lobby. Please plan to be present for this important event.
